Literary Translation Studies Today & Tomorrow

Klaus Kaindl and Waltraud Kolb are among the major contributors to the conference.

Klaus Kaindl, one of the keynote speakers at the conference, will address the topic of "The Lives of the Infamous: Reflections on an Auto/Biographical Turn in Translation Studies". His speech is on November 5th at 13:30 GMT.

Waltraud Kolb, together with Wolfgang U. Dressler and Elisa Mattiello, will speak about "Human and machine translation of nonce words in literary texts: Johann Nestroy's "Talisman" and its English translations". The speech time is 15:00 GMT on November 5th in the panel "Computer-aided Literary Translation".

Among further presenters at the conference will be Mikael Evdokimov. His presentation on "Literary Translation for Peacebuilding" is scheduled for November 5th, 16:05 GMT.
