Ass.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Waltraud Kolb
Waltraud Kolb is Assistant Professor of Literary Translation. She studied translation (English, French, Portuguese/German) and holds a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Vienna. One focus of her research is literary translation processes and the use of machine translation and post-editing in the literary field. She has been working as a freelance translator since 1985 and is a member of the executive board of the Austrian Forum for Literary Translation.
